Packing Heat

On Wednesday, August 8, 2007, the Calhoun County Republicans and Centerline Gun Club cooperated on a night that was informative, fun, and for some, inspiring. Over 100 gun enthusiasts joined Calhoun County Sheriff Al Byam, Calhoun County Prosecutor John Hallacy, and Calhoun County Clerk-Register of Deeds Anne Norlander to learn more about the process of obtaining a concealed weapons permit. In addition, gun experts were on hand to instruct attendees on how to safely handle handguns and offered the use of quite a variety of different handguns. Almost half of the participants had never fired a handgun before. Calhoun County Republicans are committed to Second Amendment Rights and the responsible exercise thereof.
